The Man Who Hanged Himself
Not far from Madrid, there is a large wooden barn. The barn is completely empty except for a dead man hanging from the central rafter. The rope around his neck is ten feet long and his feet are three feet off the ground. The nearest wall is 20 feet away. It is not possible to climb up the walls or along the rafters, yet he hanged himself.
How did he manage it?

Shouldn't there have been drops of water???
true vaetrus, surgeo said that also
The man jumped to grab the rope, pulled himself up enough to slip his head through the noose, then let go... sad case
he could have also stood on someone else to hang himself and then the person walked off. or stood on a cow and the cow ran off.
The barn was empty and the door was locked from the inside so anonymous the man leaving theory or the animal running theory wouldn't work. I would say he climbed up the roof. But who knows if theres a door thing in the top like you would see in the movies.
I'm Back, ok this is a better answer. The man used a block of ice large enough to climb, slipped his head through, jumped, died, the ice block melted, and water eventually evaporated.
